A RMIS (Risk Management Information System) according to our corporate definition is a service provided by risk professionals for risk professionals. The
purpose of a RMIS is to help our clients lower their cost of insurance risk.
How INFORM
accomplishes
this is by
having account
executives that
not only
understand our
system, but also
are conversant
with the
insurance industry
and self
insurance
alternatives.
They are responsible for the loading and understanding of your data. And most of all,
they understand and respond to your expectations. It all starts with Service.
Another factor that makes a successful RMIS offering is that the system provides more information and insight than just a sorted listing of claims. RIMS
systems are designed to show how claims are developing and then how to manage and control them. The consolidation of data from different carriers and
different coverages in an organized and consistent way helps provide this insight.
At INFORM we believe that to be successful we must provide our clients with the best technology that is available. It must be easy to use, easy to understand, and
powerful enough to handle the most demanding clients. It must be web-based and by that we mean all one needs to operate our system is a web browser. In today’s
technology with the security requirements that corporations are subject to, it is unacceptable to require a user to load add-ins, plug-ins, connectivity software, etc. Users want to be able to access a system from any machine that has a browser without any intermediate software loaded, and if they want to print it should be to a
printer of their choice, not one that has to be registered centrally before it can be used.
A RMIS system if used correctly can be used to monitor the performance of the carrier, TPA and the broker. It seems to us that to use a system from someone that
has financial or ownership ties to the data being analyzed is probably not the most objective solution one can pick. INFORM is independent of any insurance
entity. We have
only monetary allegiance to our clients.
